Having started in the18th century as a popular coaching inn on the main route north from Edinburgh, the family owned Green Hotel has retained its reputation for warm hospitality and excellent service.

Dine in style in the award-winning Basil’s Restaurant. An elegant setting in which to enjoy the varied menus that feature a subtle blend of modern international cuisine with some Scottish influences. Jock’s Bar offers a fine selection of traditional fayre in a relaxed atmosphere from hot and cold snacks to filling bar lunches and suppers.

The extensive garden features a courtyard with ornamental fountain. From September to April you can also try your hand at curling on the 4-sheet curling rink. The Shop at the Green offers clothes for all occasions and is an Aladdin’s Cave for unique and original gifts. There are also two 18-hole golf courses, The Montgomery and The Bruce, and both courses are deemed by many to be amongst Scotland’s hidden gems.
