Clan Cottages is a family run concern near Oban in Argyll, Scotland, which will make you feel right at home. There are five newly built thatched cottages laid out like a small Celtic settlement. They are situated on the shores of Loch Nell and River Nell, a stunning and very peaceful location within a six minute drive from the town of Oban and all its amenities.

Clan Cottages was specially selected by Vincent Crump of the Sunday Times Magazine 25.01.09, as one of the 50 best cottages in which to stay in Britain and Ireland. Only six cottages were featured in Scotland and Clan Cottages were the only cottages chosen from Argyll.

The group of cottages includes a one bedroom cottage with a beautiful mezzanine lounge – perfect for honeymoon couples, three two bedroom cottages, one which has been designed to suit anyone who has mobility problems, and one three bedroom cottage. The area is blessed with an abundance of wildlife and is the ideal location for fishing, walking, cycling and exploring the archaeological features of the area. The location is an ideal base for exploring Argyll and the islands.
